Best way to remove pinstriping? Was thinking of debadging and removing the striping. What is the best way to do this?

I had that cheesy white stripe down both sides...about 30 minutes, 2 beers, and a hairdryer later, it was gone.

It's true. Because the day was so hot, I ended up just peeling them off w/out a hairdryer. Also took off the dealer's free advertising on the trunklid. I thinks it looks more polished with less crap on the car.

I've seen a few used maxs on dealers lots with pinstrips. i don't get it. do customer ask for them or do dealers just put them on for the hell of it. if you want pinstips get a lincoln..

That's what I was thinking too. Pimpstripes = whitewalls = Landau top = spare tire on the trunklid w/gold spokes.
