Ok, if your HIDs cut out when you turn on the high beams (and you're a 2001/2000 with a retrofit, obviously) the solution is simple -- check your grounds. I was at Maximum Tuning today, and Jeff fixed this instantly. If both cut off, then both headlights need a ground -- if just one cuts off, then only one does. I'll take a pic tomorrow of which wire was grounded and to what point. But yeah, grounds are your friend. =)

Good to know. Yeah, when I installed my HID's, I had already known the ground issues of the headlight harness as compared to the '02-'03's. But, just for the record, it's best that the HID's don't cut out when the high beams are on, because this will definitely shorten the life of the HID's. Actually, when making the conversion of HID's in the '00-'01's, if your HID's cut out when high beams are on, then you definitely hooked them up improperly. They should stay on with the high beams.

That's normal. All cars do that with HIDs.

Yep. Now all of my lights stay on with the high beams engaged. =D

Did you have problems before? Were your HID's cutting out with your high beams on?

Yeah, that's what I said in my original post. I had the issue remedied today. It was just one HID cutting out.
