Squeaky Belt
Well guys i just installed a new alternator and decided to replace the Drive Belt as well... Only one problem though, the belt squeaks like no other! After its warms up it goes away. I have tried loosening and tightening it and nothing... Anyone have any clues? My only thought is that its not tight enough or that you have to lube the tensoner bolt... any help would be great guys!

Never heard of having to lube any bolts to prevent squeeking....It's hard to check the proper tensioner from the top side because of the small amount of belt between pulleys....Go from underneath from the crankshaft to the AC pump (IIRC) there should be about a foot of belt and you should be able to flex it about 1/4 of a turn........
Buy some belt dressing...If you spray it on the belt and it goes away, it's brobably a tension issue.....If it doesn't go away its probably the idler pulley.

I'm gonna do a belt change over the weekend. I was doing a oil change last week and inspected the belts. They were all cracked, so I ordered new belts. There wasn't any DIY instructions in the owners manual, so can someone post up a DIY for both belt changes. I searched for this topic already, but I only got full Underdrive Pulley installs.Thanks.
