If it is an IACV problem, it should be doing it when your A/C is off as well, since the ECU already compensates when the AC is turned on. If you're under warranty, have it checked out. If not, go to Autozone and have them check for any warning codes stored in the computer that might not be triggering an SES light.

I'm the first to say "my bad" when I am proven wrong by someone. In this case dealing with 255 tires on a 7" wide rim, though, I am not wrong, no matter how you look at it. You disagree?

internally, the gray dot coils were the "updated" ones that Nissan replaced under warranty (or in TSB?) for those who bought their cars new. I don't know what the specific changes inside them are, but they are (supposedly) more reliable.
to check, you'll obviously need to take off the engine cover

Have you kept up on your maintenence? Air filter clean? Spark plugs relatively new? Clean injectors?
Here's a picture of where the IACV is located anyway:

With the engine running, rev it up via the throttle cable in the engine bay (attached to the throttle body). See how much movement the engine makes when you do this.

Nowhere did I say you weren't helpful. In fact, I even stated that you made a post that addressed this issue properly and maturely. What I'm getting at is that all I see now days are people getting flamed left and right. Yes, some people deserve it. But the vast majority don't. You aren't quite as bad as Jason in this aspect (and he knows it
) but like I said before, some of the things you and him said were uncalled for. I just don't understand why ya'll get so pissed off when someone tries to explain themselves. I didn't see any argument or harsh words coming from him, so why should they have to come from you? Imagine if a school teacher were to say "you're stupid" because a child didn't understand something he was being taught. That's kind of what ya'll were doing. /argument, yes?

Here's an awesome thread describing how to test your coils:

1.. take apart center console to get climate control out

3. find circuit board
4. twist bad bulb to remove
5. twist in new bulb.
Be VERY careful....it is quite easy to break stuff in there....
Ok guys I have a weird question. This evening I was revving my engine while it was in neutral to hear my intake. Of course it sounded great like it always does. Then I did it again like within a minute of the previous time and it honestly sounded like a stock intake. No growl on Whoosh sound. Then a little later it sounded normal again. Again this was all in either neutral or park. I'll pry get flamed for this but i figured that id post it anyway cause i thot it was so strange. Why would it do this??
major problem....i have a 2000 SE and last night all of a sudden my keyless entry stopped working so i thought it was my key file so i replaced the battery and it still wouldnt work, when i press anything on the key it doesnt respond, when i try lockin the car from the inside door panel it doesnt work, my ding sound doesnt work when the door is open and when i take my key ou the ignition, and cut the car off my lights are still on, its not the 40sec timer either cuz on the 2000 when you take you key out the ignition the lights shut off and all of my lights stay on including the fogs, and also my ceiling light doesnt come on when the door is open. As you can see its a lot of things but if anyone knows what it could b please let me kno.....

Get a JWT/Stillen, or, go custom.

Just showing off because I have the Cipher, and he knows it, and he doesn't have it.

You always have to rub that in....
