Is There Anyway To Check Your O2 Sensors?
Well im desperate to find the reason for my ****ty mileage.. after changing plugs, airfilter, tranny fluid, blah blah, im getting desperate... so i wanna check if my o2 sensors are bad, but my friend who works on my car for me is tellling me there is no way to check them but if there done, then a code will be pulled.. but im not pulling codes, but i cant seem to find the reason for my ****ty mileage. I see all these people getting 24, 25 miles per gallon even with not all highway driving and hitting over 3 RPMS, i do like 75% highway driving and i BARELY go above 3 RPMS and i get no more than 16 miles per gallon. what could it be? what are some symptoms of bad o2 sensors?
excuse me moderators if im posting duplicate threads but im not this one is mainly about o2 sensors, not my mileage, im just letting people know my problems so they can help me better.. Thanks

There are many threads on O2 sensors out there, look for em.
Get a FSM and test the O2 sensor voltage specs if you think those are really what's causing the problem, but right now it seems as if you're just shooting in the dark and throwing money at the car without fully understanding the problem.
