I'd rather be pessimistic and happy when I put down better numbers than be optimisitic and said when I put down crappier numbers.

That's a pretty damn fast maxima! Well I'm going to stick with my 2.5 I suppose mainly because like you said I doubt the .5 will do much with stock pully also it'll be loud as hell.....kinda going for the sleeper here.
