i've got a rental car for work down in san diego. a new dodge stratus with ~7000 miles on it. found a 5th gen on the freeway and we picked it up at around 80. holy cow, what a difference. i floored it and i felt like i was pulling hard, but a glance at the speedo told me i was barely accelerating at all, ~90. i look up and he's got 3 car lengths on me.
we shut down cuz we come up on some traffic and as i pull up to him he's looking all confused cuz he doesn't know why i've got such a big grin on my face.
one thing tho. the stratus auto shifts a lot faster than mine does.

interestingly enough, i tried that on this stratus and it just sat there. waited for the revs to drop before engaging, albeit abruptly.
did it a second time and then got a nice spin. got to my hotel and some kind of a nutty smell was coming from under the car. good thing i got the insurance.

Exactly!

I took my MOMMY's rental car('93 Neon) out for spin, literally. I took out a PARKED car. I did about $8K in damage to the rental, totaled the POS parked car, and $12-15K in damage to my hand. Anyways, I was 17 at the time and luckily MY insurance covered it otherwise I don't think my MOM would have let me live to see 18.

Man those were the days!

Ultra Lights
smoke less Ultra Lights a day
Till you get to one
thannnn
leave it on the table
where you can see it
resist it for a week
and smoke one a week
reduce that
you get the picture
