He said linked thread, not this thread.

...think about the post in context. What's the last thread that was linked to?

I posted a link, you responded to that, he responded to you about that.

Yeah, Sorry...I'm still learning all your jargon/nomenclature; It would be best next time someone wants to reference something to me just tell me the post# (319) I did see this link before but not the one with the 4 runs on it. Wow! It's definitely throughout the entire rpm range. Hell, maybe the primary and secondary tubing needs to be enlarged as well. I think the existing headers secondary piping (2.25") dumping into a 3" collector will cause to much turbulence. Unless it's merged with a pipe that gradually increases it's diameter toward the cat/test pipe. Wow!! What kind of muffler and resonator are you running? How loud is this SOB??? I found the Cattman rear muffler to be too loud for my taste but the Oem muffler keeps it real stealthy, quiet and sneaky fast! Maybe I'll rethink the whole setup... I have but I love the peppiness with just the touch of the throttle.
How's your part throttle response in close proximity traffic? What's I didn't like about the Cattman rear muffler section was everyone knew when I was making a move due to the exhaust noise at even part throttle. Do me a favor take a picture of your setup
so I can see how close your clearances are to the braces( no problem) and the heat shields....I'm really interested in the slow speed behavior when it comes to throttle response.... Thanks for the help guy!

With the proper accessories (like an O2 sim), yes, assuming all they do is the OBD-II check.

We need a list of the performance mods on the OBX vehicle. With that, we can attempt to find Cattman header dyno runs on a vehicle with similar mods.

Datdude20, there are no mods listed in your signature. Can you share your mod list with us?

Very good indeed. I'd cut a 1/2" out the subframe for those numbers.

And just like i said in post #3...

"This will definately flow better than stock for us 5 and 5.5 gen guys. The quality and fitment probably sucks, but we cant really complain becuase it seems like they are trying to give us a decent product."

Now we just gotta see how well these hold up.

And by the way, can we NOT start a discussion on how/why these are beetter or worse than cattmans.

Exactly, and it's not about who has a better product or not. We are finally starting to have variety of products.

Now that've rejoined us here on earth...

I did this with a 3.0 and had a dyno to show, but never got to posting it before it was lost on my damaged USB key drive.

This is what I've been saying for a while now, the collectors on the headers are too small IMO and a more robust y-pipe does need to be made.

If you want to see pic of how well a 3" exhaust fits to our car here are my pics:

http://forums.maxima.org/6758951-post84.html

I will say I had no bump on the rear beam at all from the exhaust, cause the guys who did it for me did a good job. At the time when I did this, I didn't care about noise anymore, The more straight through the better, only reason being was I was gonna go all out on a motor build and never look back. but then I sold the car cause...I needed a V8 in my life.

There are vids too, its not raspy, just more of a raw sound, camera just sucks.

If you go into winpep under file go to export graph save it as a jpeg and then upload it to photo bucket that should work for you. What were you putin down before the headers?

But I do have to say that a set of cattman headers/ypipe > fastcat > cattman cattback and cattman intake all on an a33b makes my eye twitch when it's flying by my little 3.0...

SAE corrected I really think you were around 215-220whp before. These numbers are right inline with other headers. Might again another 5whp or so with A/F correction.

I have to say, I am impressed.

The potential for a 30 hp gain w/ A/F tuning and small tweaks is pretty attractive for $350. Did someome mention earlier about the life-time warrany these had too?
