Alternative To Ebay Foglights?

Old discussion with a new question... I've read tons of stuff saying of course you get what you pay for with ebay fogs and the light output sucks . The car is black, the headlights are black grill is black and the windows are black so trying to keep with my all black theme is there an alternative to the smoked or black ebay fog lights? I do want the looks but I also want some functionality too.. Anyone have any suggestions to try and have a good looking and functional black or smoked fog light? Pics would be great too, not to be a pain..

Hey thanks for the suggestions so quick...Sharpie though? I think you would see all scribbles and lines on the light when it was on since you would never be able to cover the whole light evenly without seeing off spots... Tint cover though I haven't thought off or seen I don't think... I assume these are just small ABS type plastic circles that fits in front of the fog light? How are they secured in place? I think this may be a better alternative cause I've seen a couple Super Black maxs on here with black headlights and fogs and it just looks real aggressive and clean so covers seems to be a better alternative to buying some black Ebay fogs and using a Piaa H3 bulbs it looks like... Any pics of someone using these?

The Sharpie was sarcasm

The fog overlay kits that they make would be a good idea. They're self-adhesive. The only problem with these: if you use over 55w bulbs, they trap excessive heat and shorten the life of the bulbs. I had this exact issue when I was using 70w bulbs.

Haha...Okay good I though the sharpie thing sounded like something somebody does when they get extremely bored... So who offers these overlay kits? Are they the same kinda deal like the laminX I keep seeing in posts or is it different?

You can get them at any of the places I listed. I think mats.com only sells a whole kit for fogs and headlights. The other 2 sell them just for the fogs. You have to call xpel to get them separately though.

VHT Night Shades spray... people use this for blacking side markers, tails, and fogs.

Seems like this would work best IMO. I think a film would chip or peel.

I have the PIAA Extreme Whites... (which I'll be replacing soon with an HID kit) Have a look-see:

Not very white IMO... HID is the only way to go for me.

Yea the nightshade spray I guess could be an option too but i would think eventually that would dull as well... Just was looking for the best option cause I'm sending my car to the shop this weekend for painting a new trunk, rear and front bumper re-spray, painting grill black and front and rear stillen lips so obviously a black fog light combo would round things off...I'll try and post some pics after the body shop though..Should look pretty good though I've got 20 inches sittin on H&R's...Next is new leathers though cause the leathers tearing and I don't know why cause I baby the car and it an 01 with only 70k....

Ya 20's....Going for sport luxury I guess I would call it.... Can't picture myself going with 17's or 18's cause it's seems to honda civic to me which I did used to have and had 18" Konig's...The car sits great no wheel gap and the 20's fill the fenders, but your right to each his own i guess...

I would think anything over 18's or 19's on the 5.5 gens, you'd start to feel a degradation in ride quality...

They just seem too...big for our gen. That's just my .02, I suppose.

But then again, I also like the look of the stock 17's, personally.

On a side note...
