Apexi, love it. I replace mine every 8 months to a year. May cost a lil more but well worth it. Love dry element and so does my maf, lol...

excuse the dirty engine bay, here's the AEM white filter, washed about 4 times by now on my home made aluminum intake ("frankencopy")

Well... you get high praise for ingenuity. Cleanliness? Um, no.

i know its an old topic but i would like to know.... apexi filter part number is 500-A021 or A025?? i have a frankencar midpipe so do i need apexi adapter??

You need the apexi adapter for sure. The mid pipe you already have is on the other side of the maf housing. I've had the same apexi filter for about for years, 40,000 miles and it is still like new. I do need to replace it.

if i get A021 apexi (comes with no adapter).... and buy other brand adapter has to be 3''?
