Either of yuse guys know how the Trimbrite stands-up to COLD (as in subzero) weather???
I've been looking for this stuff for a few years for my rear wheel-well mouldings: they're all chipped-up.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Sooner: where'd you actually PURCHASE this stuff from? What store?
thanks,
gr

I purchased a roll and cut it in half and it still gave me room to clean up the trim with a razor. Remember, the tape tends to shrink a bit in the summer so trim appropriately.

I can get it done for $140 flat in the city, $120 is you go through me

I wanted to know where HE bought it.
Omigli is an online reseller like Amazon, so, what I meant was WHICH vendor did it ACTUALLY sell from...
Doesn't really matter tho.
And I don't have Advance Auto OR Peppyboyz near me.

Sounds like "shrinkage" IS a factor?!

Yeah, around here it's expensive. Umbra tinting in Schaumburg wanted $230 and they wouldn't do 20% for obvious reasons. I'm heading down there this weekend to the tinting place if you wanna come get yours done ![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

-Yea I would but I cant do it this week (not enough in the budget for that yet
, I will soon tho).

So - is sunroof tinting and GLASS EXPLOSION an urban legend, or is there truth to it?!
My installer literally would NOT tint my moonroof glass claiming this.![Confused](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Sure would like to have that thing darker.....![Embarrassment](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)
Uh - keep in mind that different manf's have different gradients of "darkness". Mine is rated at 20%, but it's MUCh darker than that, technically.![Cool](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)

Why is windshield sun visor strip considered "ghetto"? I see the visor strip on almost every single car every single day. It's functional in being that it helps keeps the sun out of the face. I had mine put on a few weeks ago and it made a huge difference.

You get what you pay for in tint. Around here you can get it done for $99, but it won't hold up and it will turn purple. Want the good stuff that will last, has no metal in it, and won't turn color, it's $200-$225.
