Underdrive pulley belt size...

Does someone have the belt size that I need to get to run the UDP? I'm assuming its the serpentine belt. I guess I need the mm size. I searched on the ORG but I haven't came up with a definite size.

Unorthodox Racing website page for their UDP on the 2000 Maxima:

http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/Item...ke=30&Model=92

...assuming that UR's UDP is the same diameter as your UDP.

This is one of the reasons I went with an OEM diameter on my light-weight crank pulley. Just saying.

Hope this helps. Good luck with the belt.

Direct from Unorthodox Racing almost 2 years ago. It doesn't seem that they have an OEM-diameter crank pulley anymore... in curiosity, I was looking for it after I posted that link for the OP.

When they had it available last, they were asking $250. I paid $200 for mine new. However, with hindsight, there are far better things to be spending two bills on than a lightweight crank pulley.

If you can do a crank pulley for $50 to $100, that seems more reasonable for what it is. People can and will disagree. That's just my 2-cents.

yea thats alot of money for little results...not like i have alot of power adders, etc for that to make THAT much of a difference. i could drop $200 on a wideband or a tuning unit to work towards a tune and get better results

Get OEM from Nissan. Most aftermarket's I've dealt with (all of them actually), tend to squeal. Nissan's do not squel unless they're actually loose.

Go to Nissan and ASK for OEM BELTS from the sales clerk, or order them online by using your make and model and year, that should get you where you need to be.

36 inches? Hell, I can't remember, but asking for OEM Maxima belts eliminates having to ask for a certain size.

They will give you the right size if you order it from Nissan. Which is what I recommend.

I have a UDP (don't even know the brand ), and I am using stock belts becaue thay are superior.

Also, from posts 9 & 10, it's seems to me as if it's lightweight, and not a smaller diameter? Even then, the stockers will fit a smaller pulley, since both belts have quite a bit of adjustability.

The only time yo need to use a smaller belt is when you completely eliminate say the AC pulley, which is what I used to do in the winter. I believe it's a total of 2" smaller (50.8mm)

Gates is working fine here. The only time it squeals is when I completely deluge the underside of the car speeding through a 6"+ puddle And that only lasts for a couple seconds.
