I honestly know nothing about CAD yet...I would like to play around with a program to become familiar. I've got a couple friends in the city that know all about these things and are CAD and Graphic designers by profession I was hoping to get them at least help me get started

As far as a small fee...I honestly can't afford anything right now b/c I need to pay cash for surgery before I spend so much $$$ on this project, and I'm keeping my designs on major lock down. Right now, I'm building my parts the 'old fashioned' way to start...then hopefully they will be perfected by a professional to be sent to my friend with an engineering degree then off to my neighbors company for CNC machining and/or manufacturing

I love all the help I can get, and I am a fast learner

thanks to EVERYONE for the support I love the ORG...more than facebook, lol!

Probably not allowed to say this on here but there are ways of getting good CAD programs for free. I have autocad, catia and solidworks myself

most people do rough drafts then draw them up on CAD...also...just scanning them in as a tiff does nothing...its not to scale or anything..on top of that i have access to Solidworks as well
