Intresting ad on eBay, yet only 2yrs old, this guy put 76000miles on this car, damn did he/she drive this puppy around.

But what is interesting is that theirs came with a 245hp engine, why the hell did mine come with a 222 hp?

Or does having 76000miles give you extra 23hp?

Let's hear it for living in your car! I have 70,000 on my 2K, bought it in Sept. 99 with 3 miles on it. I'm in sales and drive the crap out of mine, but I am proud to have never used a car wash - always hand washed in the driveway. As far as the HP at 245, he's either modded it and is guessing or he's just plain wrong. If I remember right the 2001 has 225? And the 2000 has 222.

 

Cuz here in Montreal, it's VERY cold and everybody knows that cold air gives you more horsepower

I also believe that they forgot to translate the mileage from km/h to m/h...

 

The 2000 and 2001 both have 222hp with the exception of the AE Max which has 227hp.

The guy with his 245hp car is likely smoking something (or it's modded). If it were modded, I am sure he would be listing details. Besides, I just recently saw a dealer ad for a '00 Infiniti I30 for about $24K and it said it was rear wheel drive. Now that would be an expensive mod!

 

scroll to the bottom of the auction, the guy corrected himself. who knows where he got the 245hp to start with.
