It's pretty obvious that if the tire is flat (and not just a little low on air) immediately that someone hates you (unless you find a puncture).

Use tire sealant.

I can think of a few people..
No possible way it could have been deflated by someone else though. I was parked directly next to a wall.. Had to fold my mirror in. It wpuldnt make sense to put in all that effort when theres two unguarded tires.

The sealant works for a bit before letting air squirt back out. I could hear the air leaking out around the entire edge of the rim. Filled it back up and its been good since. The back right one decided to go down to 15 psi today..

Did they use bead sealer when they mounted the tires? There's no way it should leak if they did. I didn't think of that earlier.

^^ They could've used bead sealer, and it could still leak. Like it did on mine. All it takes is a big enough idiot to do your tires, who doesn't know how to work with alloy wheels.

Besides that, here is pics of last night after installing LED side markers:

Finally some more pics up in this thread, need some daytime pics now..

Thanks bro! You got it, those will look good on your white maxi-pad.

Speaking of tinted and blacked out...I'm not sure I like these led markers in the daytime as much as my black ones...at night definitely. They are smoked and have a black edge..

Light on

Light off

Side w/ light on

Whats your guys thoughts? Me thinks maybe I should smoke em a lil more? At same time they look really good from many angles and almost clear when in direct view of the sun..

they lure your eye sight to them. Analogue, the look kind of *rough* while the rest of the car looks more round and soft? Like instead of a single light of light it looks like razer blade type of light you know?

^^@Stillwell: As we discussed once you get something going in the taillight dept to complement the leds i think the look will be complete. I think they look nice as is without smoking them any further as well...but i hear you on the angles displaying the smoked lens differently. Its evident in the pics as well.

On a non related Note; Id lose the wheels center cap and rock them without myself. Get some aftermarket open ended mutekis or nrg for the budget friendly minds. Then fab some custom center caps. I think it would look far nicer!

Got a great deal on brake pads and install on this gloomy day from a friend. Rocking bird crap on my car now though.

@Stillwell
I do like the look of the LED markers. I've always had mixed feelings about the smoked or clear colored markers on Gold/Silver Maxi's though. I think you should smoke them more.

^^ Yeah Ive got mixed feeling so far. Gonna see how I feel bout them in a few days from now..

I think the almost black look goes very well with my car. But then again, the way they are now almost looks body color from some angles and smoked from others. Its a nice effect as well and a diff look...

I think LED tails will compliment it for sure ^^^

^^ and I though bout doing the center cap thing, but those stockers only have to last this one more winter and Im getting new wheels in spring... the stockers will then be deep winter beaters and no need to hook em up lol

I would not crank over and there was a rapid clicking sound when I turn the lights on. As soon as I turn the key all lights would turn off. I took out the alternator got it tested. It passed. I then took out the starter and tested it. It also passed but oreilly auto parts mention even though it passed it was not engaging as fast as it should and recommended to replace it. I then went to the junk yard and got a starter put it in and car started.

Finally finished installing/troubleshooting my stereo install. Big thanks to djfrestyl for the install advice!

I originally finished the install a week ago but my 4 channel amp was cutting out on me at moderate volume. I've had the amp for 14 years now so I was worried it had given up the ghost, though 12 of those years it's just been sitting in a garage so I was hopeful it was still good. I had good voltage to both amps (+14V) and over +12V at both remote turn on posts so the amp was never losing power. I eventually traced it to my front door speakers that were getting shorted by the door frame. Impedance at the amp terminals was measuring under 1Ω for the front pair. I removed the speakers and the terminals had been bent by the door so were they were making contact. I repositioned the speakers in the door brackets so the terminals weren't touching the door and presto magico, no more amp cut out!

Alpine MRV-F307
Alpine MRV-M500
Alpine 10" DVC Type R sub
JL Audio Evolution speakers

I also changed the cabin air filter and installed my spare tire cover while I was at it.

Got mine (K&N) for just under $45, so they aren't that expensive. I'd return the Spectre.

And yes, I want cooler air to hit the intake. The heat under the hood is high, especially with non-wrapped headers. Every little bit helps, regardless of the season.

Today i discovered i have a leaky radiator. Seems to be the original Nissan one at 85k miles now. Small hairline crack on top where "Nissan" logo is written. Theres a small flat section on the rest rounded top portion of radiator.

I feel the same way about them but they seem painted on. I did do a quick search and looks like with some rubbing/polishing i could possibly remove them.

Whether painted or tape kind, the easy way to remove them = use 3M eraser wheel.

It goes on a drill and the pinstripe comes off in 5 minutes. You can do it without the eraser wheel, but then it will be a real PITA. You can also use that wheel to remove badges or anything else from the body of the car.
