stupid mistake

stupid mistake

While changing bulbs for mu fogs i lost the retaining clip for the bulb,nissan doesnt sell it .does anyone know where i can get one its the u shaped clip that goes under a screw andholds down the foglight bulb

check junkyards and snag one from a car there

Lol i only wish i was that creative and fogs and these junkyards dont last long

Needle nose and use the clip from the other light to compare.
Either that or buy a whole new fog light.

If u were only changing the bulbs how far could the clip have gone to permantely lose it?

Lol i refuse to buy a whole foglight ,i just found it its inside the foglight .how do you remove the lense of the fog?

Heat up the foglight and peel off the lense, there might also be screws on the side too take those off.

Remove the fog light from the car, shake until the clip falls out?

like slo said, remove the bulb and shake it until the clip falls out. if it got in there, it can get out. trying to remove the lens will probably damage the lens itself. if the clip is metal, try to get a little magnet and fish it out. if its plastic, try some small needlenose pliers
