Depends on what you are doing. I30t have the vlsd in them which are sometimes easier to source than the maxima's. Depends on what motor you have as well as the 3.5's never had lsd in the autos. IF you arent daily driving it then I would just weld the spider gears in the diff and call it a day.

Bunch of them on fleabay. I would say try and get one from the LKQ network which honours their warranties rather than some of the other fly-by-night places.

When i search for "2001 maxima locking transmission" all i get is "non-locking". should ibe using different search terms?

are they standard on the i30 or did you mean i30"T"?

Standard on the I30T. Just change the way you search slightly so just type "Transmission Maxima LSD" or Maxima LSD. You'll get a whole bunch with the second and you'll have to weed through them. The 1st search is more direct BUT you will get less, and sometimes they only put it in the description IN the ad. I did get a whole bunch with either, but like I said I would just try the LKQ network or just give your local guy a call sometimes they all work with each other, I don't know how it works in the states but here I can give my local guy a call and he does most of the searching and comes back at me with a whole bunch of options.

Are you daily driving it? Has your tranny sheet the bed?

car-part.com has pages of them. There's one with 55k for 550.

Just make sure they give you a pic of the trans code.

^^THIS^^

car-part.com is my go to for ordering used parts. I used them to find my 04 LSD 6-speed which was in Canada while I was in Florida.

car-part.com is basically a huge searchable database of the parts available in junkyards across US and Canada. Anyone can use it. Once you find the part, you call that salvage yard to ask questions or complete the rest of the transaction.

Should be 100 unless you're far away.

It'll come with freight shipping which is different than the normal consumer shipping services like UPS, FedEx etc... The salvage yard will handle it for you.

I paid $80 to have it shipped from Canada to Florida. It showed up on an 18 wheeler. That was 10 years ago but the price was nowhere near what it would be for a consumer shipping service.

They may ask if there's a loading dock or forklift where they're delivering it and that can affect the price a bit but they will send it to a house. I was working at a dealership at the time. We were set up to receive trucks and I knew someone would be there to receive the shipment. If you know anyone who receives trucks you might see if they'll receive it for you.

If they want to charge a lot for residential (or if a semi can't navigate your roads), you can have it go to a receiving facility and pick it up there.

i may have found one online since i don't have a truck or the cojones to go the junk yard for about the same price if not cheaper. IF they can measure the seals for me idk if the seals ID or OD is different!!! I also there there should be a number on the casing?
