installing vafc and wideband

so this weekend I will be installing the vafcs and wideband I picked up from org members. The wideband is straightforward but I'm having doubts about vafc. I checked the diagrams (the Owens family one) and have read a lot of threads. A lot of information is in dead threads so I have a couple questions. The MAF sensor wire does it have to be spliced a certain way so I won't get CEL? another question is which wires are not being connected at all? I read that light blue and orange don't need to be plugged in but how about white pink blue purple and yellow?( guessing the vtec solenoid wires are not) but how about the pressure signals and vtm signal?

All your questions should be answered here:

I realize this is for a 4th gen Maxima, but the install is the same if your 5th gen is 2000 or 2001. All you have to do is double check your ECU pin wires to make sure you're tapping/intercepting the right wires.

For the 5th gen ECU, see this link.
