Rear Defrost vs Radio Reception
When I turn on the rear defroster, I lose radio reception.
What is the relationship with the rear defroster and the radio?
Something with the antenna in the glass?

Interesting.
My radio (2000 SE, originally Bose) sound quality is not affected by the defroster being on/off.
I always thought that the radio antenna is built into the FRONT window, but I am not 100% sure. There is definitely a loop/conductor along the edges of my front window.

The service manual says the antenna is in the rear window. Don't know what the wire in the front window is. For the antenna in the rear window, there is an amplifier module in the right C pillar. If that is bad, or the capacitor used with the amplifier, that could cause reception problems.
