Infiniti i30t, year 2000.
I am unable to lock the doors using the key fob or the key itself.
When I use the key and try to turn left, it simply won't turn.

The unlock does work on the key fob.
The lock/unlock on the door panel works. This is what I am using now to lock.

Is this related to a fuse. Coz the light on window up/down buttons won't come up when the headlights are on.

 

Anybody?
Does the door lock have a fuse?

 

I can only unlock/lock my old car door by using the remote. The metal rods/plastic clips were jammed up pretty good by the body shop .
At one point I couldn't even open the door, and had to replace the latch assembly

 

It turns out the key fob lock/unlock does work. I had to press it harder and hold it for a second longer.
But the key itself does not turn left even after generous wd40.
