Front defrost button - not working

HiSince I bought the car 4 y ago it did not bother me much, but this winter is pretty cold and I need to have my front defrost working - only that button does nothing (light does not turn on, no heat...). Apart from this, heating and AC work perfectly. Tried to find if there is a fuse or relay for this, but could not find it...I will appreciate any hint!

yes 4th and 5th gen direct imports from Japan made it to Spain. Now pretty depreciated due to low mpg and 95octanes at .4$/gallon

What trim is yours? Does it have the factory touchscreen navigation? I ask cause I had the same problem on mine (03' SE) ; my problem was that the button had came off and all the Heater/AC controls and dials are actually integrated into the Nav system. Havent' been able to find replacement for mine but I was able to get it to work. Even if yours isnt the same post a picture of your AC controls to see if I could provide some sort of help.

have you checked the heater resistor, this is located close to the blower motor in the heater assembly. it is held in with 2 screws, easy way to check if the resistor is stuffed is it will only blow hot air of full fan speed. the common issue with the blower(heater) resistor is it burns the electrical track and depending on how much has burnt away you may be able to solder the track together again. i did this with my A33 where i soldered it on the resistor it sort of resembles a fusible link. as to the lights not working on the switches it could be a loose plug, if you hit the sides of the heater switch and lights either flicker or come back on it could potentially be a loose connection.
