I got frustrated with the way my clutch pedal kept losing pressure so I went ahead and replaced everything in the clutch hydraulic system since my car is less than 500 miles away from 300,000 miles. it's a surprise to me how many feet of hydraulic lines Nissan engineers felt were necessary just for the clutch. I installed a new master cylinder, Nisformance clutch hose, and a new slave cylinder. I also tore out all the metal lines that weren't needed. removing the old lines were a little bit of a pain. I had to disconnect the shift cables and put them to the side to get the spiral section of the metal line out. a lot of bending and cutting was done to force it all out. I also removed a bracket with 2 10mm bolts that the line junction box was mounted to.
removing the master cylinder wasn't as hard as it looks. I didn't bother loosening any lines, most of them were cut since they were going to be removed. the master cylinder mounting bolts required a u-joint and a deep socket at an aggressive angle to get at the bottom nut.
I routed the new hose and zip-tied it to a spot on the transmission mount, I also cut off the thin bracket that the old hose clipped on to.
this tiny 11mm wrench came in handy, I think it's my first time ever using it.
after I got it all together I had it bled by myself in like 5 minutes.

So I haven’t been able to reattach my line to my master cylinder. Any tips? Also when you eliminated the factory clutch lines, what did you have to do with the box that has the brake line hoses on it also?

I tossed all of it out, every line and junction block. just make sure to follow the lines carefully so you understand what you have to remove. the picture above will give you a good idea of what you will eliminate...

So the brake hydraulics and clutch hydraulics don’t share any of those junction boxes? I must have looked wrong.

they are 2 separate systems. when I did mine i had to follow the lines carefully because I was just going to cut them all out. there is a junction box under the ABS module that is kind of hard to see so it makes it seem as if the metal line near the shock tower is part of the brake system....
