Fuel Consumption High

I have a 2003 Maxima GLI which has done 220,000 Kilometers. Lately I feel the petrol usage appears high. According to the on-board trip statistics it is running around 12.5 to 13 Litres per 100Ks. I don't believe it has ever been that high. I have had it to the mechanics, but no error readings have been forthcoming. Coils and spark plugs were replaced not so long ago as well as 2 camshaft sensors. Crankshaft sensor still original. Just wondering if this is typical of the model or if there may be another possible explanation? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I'd compare it to actual consumption, the trip computer isn't that accurate, but it does sound high. The trip computer gets IPW signal from bank 1 so you could datalog and see if back 1 is correcting more than bank 2

13l/100km is like 18mpg
that's roughly what i get with my 2001 with the 3.0L
best i can get is maybe 10l/100km / 26mpg 100% highway driving
you're driving a premium luxury car that was designed for people that don't care what the mileage is
else you get some inferior mode of transportation
