NOS on a 2k2..

Well guys my father and I will be taking this on within the next week, hopefully it will run smoothly.. I was wondering if there is anyone else that has tried to put the nos kit on a 2k2 yet? My dad has been a Nissan mechanic for over 20 years, and says it possible but is going to take some work.. Any thoughts, ideas or comments about his installation??

Re: NOS on a 2k2..

only advice i have is get the venom kit or the zex kit. Get:

1. bottle warmer
2. purge valve
3. any kit with WOT micro switch
4. just don't go over a 75 shot on stock motor for reliability sake

Perhaps, it is called Nitrous. But he did ask if anyone has installed the "NOS Kit". NOS being the manufacturer and the kit.. well, being the kit.

... err.. moron

Thanks a lot for your unconstructive advice.. I do understand that it is nitrous, but the kit that I have purchased is made by "NOS" perhaps you have heard of it (BIG BLUE BOTTLE) Big N-O-S lettering on the side.. anyways thanks for the comment..

oh I didn't see the "kit." I apologize. I was just irritated. Heard this kid say, "yo, his paintball gun runs off nos"

Re: NOS on a 2k2..

I apologize for my funny brethrens here

Anyway, you should be safe installing the NOS as long as you don't go overboard. A lot of people have been able to go 60 w/o any problems at all. 75 should be your ceiling if you go higher on a stock set-up.

As for installation, i can't tell. Normally it's a 2 hour job but i'm not sure if the drive-by-wire set-up on the 2k2 will have anything to do with the actual installation of the NOS kit.
