Bone stock stillen says not to have a y pipe exhaust and so forth..but that don't matter.

Matnaince, watch over the tranny keep it cool with an tranny oil cooler.

watch the belts for wear, watch that the car isnt' running to lean, make sure there are no oil leaks and generel things like just watch over everything.

Mike,

If all goes as planned, my stock 2K SE auto will have a Stillen SC installed on it by this weekend. I've already been told not to drive it hard off the line until I get the VB mod and a tranny cooler. I'll get those maybe next weekend or whenever Don has a free weekend to do the mod. You can check out my car and take it for a spin to see if the SC is worth it.

Also, my one week old Frankencar intake with MonsterFlow filter is for sale. I'll sell it to anyone in Houston for cheap, or we can trade for an FSTB or something

So many new SC owners.

You definitely will need a VB recalibration and tranny cooler. I suggest getting an oil cooler (universal PermaCool kit from Summit Racing, 250 hp and up version).

Maintenance... look over your belt, pulleys, and SC once a week.

Belt: any damage or cracking?
pulleys: is the belt still properly aligned? grease around the pulleys?
SC: leaks from feed line? leaks from return hose? leaks from allen bolts?
