Dealer report in Vegas w/pic.

Took my 05' SE to Desert Nissan on Sahara in Vegas today. Got the 7500 mile service even though my car has 6200 miles on it. I liked it, balance and rotate tires and oil change as well as checking all fluids. Cost me about $90. I decided to wait on checking the headlights because I would had to have left the car all day. I Will have the Nissan dealer in Havasu look at those. While I was waiting I ventured out in the lot and discovered a Maxima owner's paradise!

Car was ready and I paid and was on my way. One thing that I don't understand is they disconnected my battery. Why? It isn't that safety thing is it? My clock and radio were all screwed up!

All in all I would rate them well and very professional. Great service!

Looks like they tinted the windows on everyone of those maximas or my eyes may be playing tricks on me, it is past my bedtime.

HOLD ON A SEC! You want to know what the dealer adds to sticker for that tint!

$350

Not only that but on two of the cars it was starting to peel. Not to mention they do it according to the law so the front windows are much lighter than the rest! UGLY!

But if it's peeling and 2 different percentages, it doesn't sound like that's the "best" that could be done. Nice to have, but I'd rather pay to have it done myself. I live in FL which is undoubtedly as hot as CA (if not more so) and I like being one of the only Max's around with a nice tint job. Most people just dont do anything to their cars, so even that sets me apart a little.

And a question for NIK / anyone
What do they check on the headlights? I'm amost at 7,500 - where can I find info about that service...is it in the owner's manual?

The dealership I bought my Max at here in AZ puts tint on every single vehicle they put on the lot. They charged me $300 for it, a little high in my opinion (but they do guarantee it for life).

Smoke Screen,

The headlights were a different matter and have nothing to do with the 7500 mile service. I am getting flashed a lot and my low beams don't seem to be aimed to good. Also my high beams don't do jack squat. When you are in Flagstaff after dark on Interstate 40 you need good high beams!

More and more I am considering the HID conversion everytime I see a Max with them they look hotter!

Hey!

I just returned to Laughlin from Vegas and noticed a 04' silver SE!! With Jersey plates in the parking lot here.

Is it any of you guys?

I hope to meet whoever it is soon. I got to tell him to wash that thing, it's filthy!!

Good to see a fellow Max owner out here, it's rare to see east coast people here.
