I too have the same problem. Dealer keeps telling me NPF!

It is worse in colder weather. It has something to do with the suspension in the rear. It may be the rear stabalizer bar, but I am not 100% sure what it is. Rather annoying.

My paperwork stated that the dealer tightened the rear stabalizer bar. It did get better for a while. then it was pretty bad (in 60 degrees and less weather), but now with the 90+ degree days and 65+% humidity it won't squeek. It squeeks only when I hit a bigger bump going over 40 MPH.

Try lubricating inside the bushings on the RSB. I had the same issue after I changed my RSB and I realized I hadn't used the lube sent with the RSB.

i had the same problem, i took it to the dealer and they replaced rear sway bar bushings, and it's fine now.
i was kinda worried that they were gonna say something about my stillen
sway bar, but they said nothing about having aftermarket sway bar...

I had this problem on an old 99 Mercury Mistake. The dealer has some unobtanium sway bar grease that was about $80 for a 8oz tube. The service advisor was a friend of mine and let me borrow the tube for an hour to zip home and use it. The stuff did an amazing job and the squeak never came back. I used to have to pull the bushings every couple months to regrease them with a regular style grease.

they probably didn't even know. paying all that, you should demand urethane bushings form Stillen. they have them for the G35 and will give them if you know how to ask.

didn't someone just post about a rear noise? never thought about the RSB

Oh man that grease is the best!!!!!!!!!!! I remember studying that stuff in class...that and the smoke molecules they secretly put into everything. Once you let those out you are screwed.

I'm not talking about blinker fluid and muffler bearings. There is a specific grease for this application, and it is obscenely overpriced.

I know what you meant....the name unobtanium was something we engineers used to joke about when the stress got to us in class. It just brought back fond memories...but I can imagine the grease is something that only dealers can find. Perhaps a good auto store...but I knew what you meant....Blinker fluid is a new one to me...hey I need to go grease my mufler so it is quieter ttyl.

I don't have the squeeking noise anymore after the dealer replaced the bushings.

the other thread was about the "knocking", "thump" sound from the back.

luckly, I got to experience both noise from the back. well that
squeeking sound is gone. now..i have to get rid of that knocking sound.
going to the dealer tomorrow morning for 3rd time. wish me a luck guys.

I don't have the rear squeak but I do have the front end Pirate Ship creaking and groaning noise over bumps and turns at slow speed.

We tried lubricating the door striker plate and that solved our creaking.

I've got the rear squeak. The techs have admitted defeat. Nobody seems to know how to fix it. It's only on speed bumps though... at slow speeds only.

It's anything that requires a quick impulse back. for me. Speed bumps are on that list too. My dealer claims those are extreme circumstances. It's been quiet though for a while now since it's nice and warm here...when the fall comes so will the squeeks. good thing I got a lawyer...that's all I can say

I wish my car only squeaked when going over bumps!! My car continuously squeaks. It happens when going on a straight strech of road going under 50mph. It is a continuous squeaking, and of course, squeaking also occurs when going over bumps, not to mention a hard knocking noice. I have also noticed that when I close my doors, driver side and passenger side, there is a squeak that seems to be coming from the whole car, not just around the area of the door. Seems real odd to me. Any of you experiencing this?

One weird thing to try, but it might be a simple fix... make sure your rear seats are completely latched in place, and maybe lubricate those where they latch in. I had a squeeking noise and finally realized one of the rear seat-backs wasn't latched at all, i slammed it in good and tight and the squeek was gone.

I feel like most of the noise over bumps originates from my dash area...nothing terrible though.

BlackMaxx, I get that too... all that plastic rubbing together... maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't taken my dash apart a good 15-20 times

I have the same problem. Sounds like I'm pushing a 78 Chevy pick-up when I pull into the parking garage. I, like others, have noticed that it seems to be comming from the exhaust pipes... I been under there and can't find specifically where, but it's driving me CRAZY

ancient memories!! surprised to see this still happens in the max... i thought nissan fixed it!..

there was a recall for the rsb ...but the recall only applied to areas where there would be more snow (and hence more salt on the roads)....as nissan figured out, only these places would have rust on the rsb....

long story short... my squeaking sounds over bumps (only in winter time)...came to an end once the recall was done!

p.s mine was an '04

I brought mine to the dealer last weekend. When riding with the mechanic the squeaks (obviously) didn't show up. However, they still hoisted my car up and lubricated both rear bushings. I thought things were fine but today was a cold day and shortly after starting my trip to work, the squeaking happened again.

I just want this to at least happen consistently so I can bring it back to the dealer and have it make the noise for them.

Anyone else with a 7th gen have this problem?
