I feel this way, too....However, get it and run before they are able to fix your problem and you not be able to get a new car.

Yeah, that's what I did after I got home and realized that they are full of crap....they lied to me and that pi$$es me off. I firmly agree that NO dealer will do the right thing by thier customers.

02MAXGLE..that Gix is a sweet bike! I am thinking of ditching my R1 and getting me one of those. Power wheelies in 3rd all day long!

In business nothing is free, and never will be free, always keep that in mind and when dealing with the STEALERSHIP always approach any transaction as if they are going to stick it to you. Thats how i deal with all my business dealings, and so far so good in life. Although im only 22, ive already made it up pretty high in the business world so please use this advise.

to go ahead would just be No Brain. Why lose a whole year's worth of payments, a year of entended warranty, and other services paid for???? AND also pay an increase (premium cost) for a car off the lot????

Early in the thread (before I finished reading it all) I was ready to write that RVC should ask for this deal but with an 06 with a 6-speed. The deal has gone sour, so the question is moot. But I know that my dealer did not sell me an 04 with a auto trannie (because that was what he had on the lot). I went home and did a search on the internet and found a 6-speed at another dealer. The two dealers did a swap and my dealer sold me a 6-speed -- because that was why I was looking at Max's in the first place -- to get a good car with a manual trannie because I'd had enough of auto trannie problems with other cars.

6-speed rules -- at least for me!
Amen Brother...I can't believe that an "enthusiast" page has so many "Auto Tranny Granny" drivers.

Auto stick? Give me a break. What do you guys do...sleep with inflate-a-dates? Drink Non Alcohol Beer?

It's like putting training wheels on a motorcycle.

um you forget or maybe ignorant that we have optional shift when we feel like it so

besides the fact the 2 trannies are so close hardly any speed advantage is necessary, it's nice to have a hand free for a lady navigator or playing with all our cool features.

I think they both have thier pros and cons. I'm not knocking the auto, my 02' was an auto but there is nothing quite like the feeling I get when I drive my 6 speed But I am working diligently (sp?) on my buyback from Nissan and if that goes through...G35 baby! Love that VQ!

hey have you ever seen a dealer out not to make money and have you screw them over. i had so many people **** me off when i went to order my wifes car ( i will have my own key though) it was ricdilious. talked to one guy at green gifford in chesapeake and he was retired military. told him i was in iraq and that my wife was going to come in and sign everything and she has poa. so i cant beat around the bush and my communication is limited so i cant come in and hassle over numbers. and no she is not going to negotiate. the one thing that i love about my wife is she lets me make all decisions on buying vehicles and hates salesmen. everyone kept telling me to send in my wife and they would talk things over with her and kept trying to sell me a car that they had on the lot or access to from another dealer. when i talked to the salesman at green gifford he put me on hold after i told him everything that i wanted, came back in about 15min and said i have to order the car from the factory and i can get it to you for 30,200 and you pay your own tax tags and titling. if the rebate changes (1250) upon arrival date then that affects the price of the deal. goes up car price goes down, goes down car price goes up that was the only catch. there are some good people in the world but i have come to learn when your buying cars the salesman is trying to make has much has possible because there is a cushion where everything that he makes over that he gets a large percentage.

You got that right! Among other ways. I got the attorney working hard on it as we speak, hopefully he will get me a re-purchase!
