ok so I have done just about everything to get rid of my rattling problem even by taking it in to the dealer twice for the rear deck which turned out to be the stock piece of **** subs that bose decided to curse us with.... once those were replaced with alpine type S 6X9s the problem went away.... then I purchase two 12 inch Diamonds to go with my 800watt pioneer amp.... rattling began so I did everything you guys did to stop the noise.... great even dynomated and sprayed the trunk.... went as far as taking off the rear bumper to weather strip.... all sounds gone except for the tail lights, which are manufacturers defect, and the trunk middle piece where the license plate goes.... I took it off and weather stripped/rubber stripped everything possible.... still a slight rattle.... so the next available option for me is to get a trunk made..... I am gonna get a trunk made of carbon fiber to fit the max.... so if there is anyone interested in doing this let's see what we can do to get an order together..... my buddy did this for his miata.... <----ghey... and all of his base rattling went away with of course rubber lining for the trunk lid and dynomat to keep in the base....
