Wow, zero difference from the 04-06 from the top. Thanks for sharing...

jsuggs - Thanks for the interesting report. We look forward to further news as you break your baby in.

I am very happy Nissan now seems to have the fit and finish up to top quality. I agree that should have been done sooner.

The suspension may have been adjusted in conjunction with the conversion to CVT. Another reason the psi has been upped from 33 to 35 on the SL may be because the '07 Maxima is around a hundred pounds heavier than the '04-'06.

I have carried 35 in the front tires of my '04 SL from early on; I found that was the pressure at which, with my style of driving, the front tires wear evenly across the entire tread width.

Thanks again for the report.

One difference up top... the tranny dipstick is there but its got a sealed cap on it with a warning not to let anyone but Nissan touch the fluid.

Did anyone try to use the dealer's online quote/sales process?

I did, and even though they didn't have the EXACT car that I wanted in inventory (07 SL, silver/black leather, DPP and loaded), the online sales rep offered to order the EXACT thing I want from the factory AT INVOICE, not a cent over. I didn't even have to haggle on the price, it was quoted right from the beginning AT INVOICE. I even questioned to make sure that the quote and my specs were a match.

I made an apointment, stopped at the dealership on Wed. evening and was matched up with the sales manager. The order for my car is going to be placed this Monday (I'm going visit there when they place the order just to make sure all the options are what I want). NOW, I do have to wait 6-8 weeks to take delivery, but to me, its worth it.
