Chern; do you have a manual or auto? Your sound clip sounds like an auto. I wonder if the auto trans in our Max can handle a supercharger or turbo if one becomes available.

If the 5AT in the G and Z can handle a good amount of FI, I'm sure you'll have no problems. You could always get one of those valve body upgrades when the time comes.

Did you rehook up all your 02 sensors? If yes, did you have the car Dyno Tuned? In all I wouldn't be overly concerned, just go to any Autozone or Advanced Auto and let them hook up (Free Service) an OBD-II and write down the ECU fault codes. Have them erase the ECU codes and your SES light will go out. If the SES light comes back on after a period of time, go back to the Auto store and get the codes read again in case they changed.

Last, I would check to see if they properly wired the 02 sensors or make sure they didn't melt (possible if installed too close to the the Y-Pipe! Happened to another member).

Good luck...

Since you are an 06, and if the light is P1273/P1284 then you will have to live with it. You have A/F sensors as your primary O2 sensors. Chernmax is an 04 which means we doesn't have A/F sensors, thus no SES light. If it is any rear o2 related code, check the wiring.

Edit: The car will run fine, the A/F sensors do not like the voltage to vary too much from what equates to a 14.7:1 A/F mixture. Bank 1 is too lean and bank 2 too rich for the ECU's liking.

I dont think theres any change from 04-06 with the sensors.

On the Altima's the 04's still used a 3 wire 02 sensor for the primary sensor (before the cat) and the 05+ use a five wire wideband A/F sensor. It is probably the same on the Max.

Real impressive numbers. Definitely should get you into the 13s. Where in Beltsville is this shop located? I'm only 10 minutes away from Beltsville
