Just spoke with Level 10 and they stated that indeed they can do a valve body job and beef up the torque converter on our automatic trannys. You're looking at crisper shifts, more power to the ground, and a longer life for the tranny. This mod is known to shave .6 off 1/4 mile times. And finally, the tranny will be good for an additional 150 hp. All for $1600 bucks.

I figure once I get my V-AFC II installed and tuned I'll be ready for with the ECU reprogram or the tranny work, which ever funds come first.

They have some information on their website: http://www.levelten.com about the torque converter upgrade and valve body job. That's $1600 in parts and service alone. Labor would be another $800 bucks!

They said if I drove the car to them they would do it all for $2200 bucks. Couldn't I just drop a 6 speed manual in there for the same price?

I'll take the tranny VB and skip the TQ. Do we still have a valve body? I thought most cars have solenoids now.
