Yes because your body doesnt move around as much. Same idea is to get a version of what Deus got is something called teh CGlock.

My buddy has it on his prelude and it rocks.

And to attest to the whole Copper lossing you story. I drive a CrownVic for a living... and I know what the car can and cannot do. But all I have to do is see your plate number and your gonna have a bad day when I find you an hour later at your house.

And as to being suped up, no its not... the used to be different in 1998 1999 model years, when the regular joe was buying a crown vic for his retirement. But not any more, they all come out of the same plant in St.Thomas Ontario and they all have the exact same parts, the taxi cab Ford Crown Victoria Fleet Vehicle is identical to the T to the Police Ford Crown Victoria Fleet Vehicle. Only thing they do on the Police version is pre-wire and pre-fuse it for police duty use.

I hope that sets the record straight for those of you who still believe that police cars are in any way modified from the factory. O and the Charger....... is piece of siht!! And has less ponies due to a different engine management computer............lower tuned so it can run on regular gasoline not the premium stuff.

that's even more dangerous than running the carabiner straps. you should NEVER run both belts at once.
pick up a CG Lock for your stock belt and remove the sparco completely, OR install the sparco right and use only one belt at a time.

THE cgLock is AWESOME, watch the video on it and see how well it actually works

"The Hemi version of the Charger simply wipes the floor with the Chevy and Ford."

Are you talking about the V6 or the Hemi? The V6 is definitely a tub of **** no matter what state of tune it's got (too much car for the motor), but the 5.7's are tuned for 89 octane from the factory (don't know about the Police 5.7), but can be set to take whatever you want with a Flashpaq programmer. In all the Dodge/Chrysler forums I belong to, the veteran cops who belong to the forums complain that their departments don't like them because they're "too fast". The top speed exceeds 160, but the light bar won't make it past 145.

Oh, and Deus, despite everything else that's wrong with your belts that was pointed out to you, please tell me those carabiners are at least steel, and not aluminum!

Just because they're the best ones you can find doesn't mean they're up to the task you've asked them to do.

tell you what... take said harness and hooks and child seat tie-downs, then tie a 30lb weight onto the end of the harness. put about 3ft of slack in it and yank on it as hard as you can. See what breaks first.

that might come close to simulating a 10mph fender-bender.
