Vince: I have looked around and most of the ones for other cars are MUCH smaller than ours, specifically, Evo, STi, 350Z, etc. The Maxima is much wider than these cars. In fact, when I was at Stillen, I got a chance to look at a 350Z and G35 sedan which had splitters, and they arent much different than the one I made.

Deus, try outward also, seems the direction others have based on the above pictures. Although structurally that does look like the best place...

Actually its the same angle the G and Z guys use:

With regard to structural integrity, Im open to better suggestions, although the above location has two layers, the factory layer and the body kit.

Just see it as a learning experience. Or in other terms just quit while your ahead and DO NOT make the mistake of drilling into your bumper.

Multiple spoilers, body kit, red tape, rims so on and so forth, its getting a little bit out of control IMO.

No hard feelings.

Maybe something like these, split them into 2 pieces, following your Stillen lip.

I thought about these before, but I prefer a lip instead.

Deuski, Posts #88-89 and #90 is what I've been telling you about, wider on the side and thinner in the center. My idea was closest to last picture in #88

The only reason I dont want it wider on the sides is that when I autocross, I dont want to hit cones. Also, it gives it a sleeker more subtle appearance when it tapers in on the sides.

Let's face it Deuce. The word Subtle should never be included in the same sentence when referring to your ride.

Just know man... no matter what you do on the org it's always going to get responses from someone like the 3 pages I just read through.

Overall I like the idea. You've already said it but definitely cf it if you are going to keep it. GL man... oh if you are going to drill into your bumper I wouldn't go so high with them. Just do it in front of the lower opening. This way if you decide you don't like them you can cover them a lot easier.

Be easy man... I'm another one that likes to do **** outside of what everyone else things is "cool."
