Just wondering who drives with
their TCS on all the time i do is their a reason to drive with it on all the time where im from it rarely rain and we never really have slippery roads wat the benefit of turning off do u accelerate faster thanks
I used TCS alot when I lived in KS and had to go up the many ice and snow covered hills around my house. It helped me make it up my driveway a few times when I lived in KS; as you have better control of the power going to the ground when its on. Albeit I had steelies and tires that were dedicated for winter time driving, I normally kept it on and didn't even think about it until I stepped on the gas hard in the rain or on a dirt road.
i leave it on with the 08 SE and CVT, because when I floor it from a stand still i smoke the tires pretty damn nicely..and the CVT doesnt seem to react right, once you do that, it comes back after a sec, but it seems like it gets confused... with it on, you floor it, you get a minimal spin, and it just accelerates rather nicely...
All i know is its odd that a safety feature such as the VDC (which I assume works similarly to ESC) is an option on a 28+K sedan.
but to get back on point, i never turn if off, I turned it off once and mashed it from stand still and it took a lil too long to actually take off. But that was on my 58K old tires though

I have read so far they are standard on 05, i wouldnt see why they wouldnt be standard on 05 and up then.
i drive with it off unless it is raining. someone told me that it saved gas but i dont know. the reasoning was that the car didnt have to work as hard with it off since it would not have to keep the tires from spinning.
correct, if there is no button then you do not have TCS
I leave it on in my '07 CVT and still break the wheels loose at 60 MPH. It did not seem to make much of a difference in my '06 Max but in my '02 Altima SE it would just about stall the motor if you left it on and stomped on it.
