Level 10 Preformance?!

Hey guys im plannin on doing a tranny rebuild and from what I hear sending in my parts to level 10 preformance to "beef" :beathorse: them up is highly recomended...They are a little expensive and I wanna make sure when I do this I do it right and not have to worry about this stupid tranny...Has anyone done and gone through level 10 for their rebuild? And specifically what parts should I send into them? I already need the rebuild kit they sell but I dont know myself what part of the tranny is screwing up..Im pretty sure its the torque converter becuz its making a winding sound and whenever I have more weight in the car it is def alot harder to accelerate, no power at all..the other option is the valve body becuz when I go down hill the tranny slips and then doesnt get into gear correctly, especially when im cruisin on the highway and some jerk cuts me off i gotta hit the brake and then when i press the gas pedal to go the rpms jump around a little and the cars engine sounds real loud and doesnt get into correct gearanother thing is my car takes a real long time to get warm...obv it runs much better when the car is warmed up but mine takes anywhere from 10-20 mins in the summer to warm up..i find that kind of wierd? :?: well anyways I just wanna make sure if I go through level ten that I can be assured I wont be having these problems...little advise would help guys

If that's the kind of attitude you are going to have, may I suggest you follow your own advice? I'm just saying...

OP, I would just call L10 and talk to them. Perfect chance to find out if you'd be comfortable giving them your business.

lol....anyways sorry for the run-ons and grammar. I was kind of in a hurry typing on my iphone...but yeah I figured I would give them a call. I just wanna know if anyone else has gone through them for a rebuild and what type of experience they had.

Sorry bro dont have advice but I have a ? About how much are they or would they be charging to do this?

P.S Chernmax had his tranny beefed up because of the turbo, Maybe he can chime in, and Im also pretty sure he did mention something about the torque converter not being up to par. But lets see what he says.

If you are having those problems I would recommend getting a high stall torque converter and getting your valvebody rebuilt. Level 10 does both. You are looking at about 800+ in parts and I would guess about 500 in labor depending on the shop. My advice would be go to the tranny shop you are trying to have work on your car, ask their recommendations. Then call Level 10 and get your parts sent out. I am not sure about their service but they seem to respond to emails pretty quickly. They also changed their website to reflect our transmission right after I recommended it to them. Chern is/was getting some work done by them, so he can tell you about turn-arounds and quality of service. Keep us posted if you do decide to go this route. Ohh and I did not use spell check when I wrote this nor do I care to hear someone correcting my grammar. I hated English class because our language is so f***ed up and hard to learn.
