06 with a mystery misfire..PLEASE HELP

Car is throwing a random multiple cylinder misfire code P0500, have swapped injectors, coils, nothing has changed, have power to all 3 front cylinders to the coils, and have injector pulse as well..cylinder 6 is just dead, you can unplug the coil and nothing changes, but if you unplug 2 or 4 it dies down a little..any ideas?? Compression is fine too

Check your engine harness, make sure everything is seated properly and you have no damaged wiring. I just went thru this on my 5th gen and it ended up being wire breakage at cylinder 3.

Make sure you plugged the coil harnesses to the right coils.

Just to make sure, you meant p0300 instead of p0500 right?

Common problem with these years is the main ground breaking off the from negative cable of battery to Transmission. Which is the ground for engine also. Usually happens from not having a engine shield under car to stop water from corroding ground. If yours is broken, it may have burned out ECM. Sometimes causes coils to burn up and bubble on side and for little diodes inside ecm to burn up. Easy way to know is with a probe to check for power running through engine grounds. need any other help just text me at 3474584697. Have about 6 years expeeriance in every kind of problem on 6th gens

the only thing is i think that the cable being corroded may have been noticed because the motor was just out of the car a couple months ago and rebuilt and put back in..is this something that could have happened in an instant? the car was running totally fine then a little pop bang boom and it was running like sh-it
