Im hoping someone has some suggestions about the trans problem im having. When you first start the car, the transmission works as its suppost to. When it reaches operating temp it just quits. Will not pull in any gear forward or reverse, like its in neutral. This issue suddenly happened one day going 65mph with the cruise set. No noise, no jerk no nothin. Only realized there was a problem when the car started slowing down. When it cools down some it goes back to normal until the trans warms back up to temp. Dont know where to start. Any help is much appreciated!

 

My guess is that you have solenoids issues. Normally when the solenoids are bad the car will shift fine when the transmission is cold but shift hard when the transmission is hot. Also, delayed engagement between reverse and drive. ist thing I would done is to change the fluid and see it that helps. Be sure and use the correct fluid.

 

The car has actually been in the shop for 2 weeks now. Did have the fluid changed and made sure it was the right type. They said that it did good long enough that they thought it was fixed right up till it stopped pulling turning back in at the shop. Headed there tomorrow to find out more info and pass on your suggestions. I appreciate your reply! Thank u
