Slippery Trans

I have a 2006 Max with 189K miles the transmission going from 2nd to 3rd pops, slips or jerks and when I slow down behind someone in the 20mph to 30mph range and I step on the gas it feels like it is in neutral than will pop into gear after a hesitation. It is not trowing a code no check engine light. I ve seen a couple of fixes 1 a drop resistor fix Im pretty sure mine doesnt have one because Ive been all over the the driver side the other is the cam shaft position sensor, but again no engine light on? Has anyone had this problem?

There is a whole writeup about this towards the top. Please take a few minutes to read through and see if the issues are similar and which fix is right for you.
