Electrical Help Please

I did something extremely stupid yesterday. Someone backed into my 06 Maxima two weeks ago and dented my driver side doors. I went to a salvage yard yesterday and purchased two replacement doors. The removal and installation of the rear door went off without a hitch, but it was extremely hot and humid. When I got to the front door I unbolted everything, but couldn't access the two harness plugs under the dash that attach to the door. This is where the stupid part comes in. I took my wire cutter and cut the harness near the door figuring I would be using the harness on the new door. Then I lowered the wire from under the dash and disconnected the two plugs. Unfortunately, I did this without disconnecting the battery. Then I went to install the front door and the plugs were different. I took the door back and am picking up the correct one with all my car options tomorrow, but I think I screwed things up. The old door is not connected to the harness, but I can't move the driver seat back and forth. The passenger seat works. The steering wheel is stuck all the way up and won't move when you touch the switch. Also the radio does not go on or display anything and the air conditioner stays on, but if I press the off button it still remains on. I don't know if some of these things aren't working because the harness isn't connected or more likely because I messed something up when I cut the harness at the door. I don't know if I should even bother to replace the door tomorrow or just get rid of the car. Does anyone know if having the two plugs not attached to the harness will cause any of these issues?

Thank you

I bought a fuse tester and found one that was bad even though you couldn't see a break. All is fine. I lucked out.

Of course you blew a fuse. Glad it turned out to be a simple fix.

Pop your hood and see if your brake fluid is low the brake fluid reservoir.

thanks for quick reply, also i bought the car at 177k miles now its at 180k miles, auto transmission fluid is blackish but not super dark, should I change the fluid on the transmission? The transmission shifts clean no slips or anything it feels strong too.

Yes change the fluid. Do a drain and fill using only Nissan K-Matic fluid. It should take about 4-4 1/2 quarts. I have 190,000 on my car with no transmission issues ever. I am **** and have done drain and refills every 10,000-12,000 miles since I bought the car with 20,000 miles. By the way the fluid should be pink. The automatic transmissions in our cars are none for having issues. It's much cheaper to change the fluid than spend $3k for a rebuild.

Good luck.

Hello!! My Max has this SAME problem as yours...but nobody could find any bad fuses. Can you tell me what fuse to replace?
