Had the car for about a year and a half, got it from my dad. Couple things went out and I bought it from him and fixed it. Anyways abs light came on, limp mode did too. Code reads the Vehicle Speed Sensor. Replaced the Vss to make sure, no result. My dad cleaned wheel bearings and things around there when he had it, it fixed the problem. Bought new wheel bearings but two years ago, wondering if it's corrosion or something else needing replaced. Honestly would clean bearings/axle teeth but DO NOT want to go through that process once again. Any ideas on what the issue could be? I can't diagnose which ones wrong with a Diagnostic tool for some reason (possibly too old of vehicle.) Would love to drive with abs, have never felt it without. Corrosion shouldn't be the problem this time since my dad had consistent and problems with the sensors when he got it. What diagnostic tool could I get today to diagnose? I already got the abs tool from autozone it did nothing. Supposing I need some type of realtime diagnostic tool. Would appreciate if someone could help me out.
