Thanks everybody for the comments

I knew it was a killer deal but its always good to hear or see from others that its not just in my head.
To answer an earlier question, I'm in Northern California in the Bay Area. The negotiations were a nightmare between 3 dealers and when I finally had a deal at the 3rd, they drop on me that, whoops! We can't give you that price with the rebate (1250) and the financing. It has to be one or the other. I exploded because I had explained before talking prices that this had already happened to me at the previous dealer and then here again? What the? So anyway, when I started to walk out the price suddenly dropped back to the 33,500 and the financing deal also. The General mgr even threw in 3 oil changes to finalize the decision.
So just want to thank everybody in this thread especially on posting there transactions and prices. It really helps when you go in there loaded with information! Love the car today on day One! Of course its raining on and off today which blows and rarely happens in California but they say we need the rain so bring it on!

Well, I can't beat Ru1thirst's deal, but I had to jump in anyway. It's Maxima #8 for me ('87, '91, '94, '97, '01, '04, '07, and now '10) over the past 22 years! 2010 SV Premium-Tech with rear spoiler, splash guards, and all the bells and whistles. $500 under invoice or $36,100. Leasing for $450 per month, but my company pays the first $400 per month, so it's mine for $50/month! Winter Frost with black interior. Pick her up tomorrow. Can't wait.

I signed the papers and will be dropping off the Pathy and picking up the Maxima tonight! Need to get rid of my Hella D2S and get some H11's!
I agree with your logic. Congrats on your buy and good luck

I still have the window sticker from my 96 GLE, $27,900. I wish my pay would go up at that kind of rate. I guess I'm lucky it hasn't gone down.

By the way BlackkMaxima, that's a very, very, good deal. Nice job.

thanks guys... yeah i agree it was a steal. sure makes it lots easier to justify it. our 2008 acura tsx was a great car, but our new Max is awesome!!!

It definitly helped to have my brother in laws discount. VPP A plan. but with both dealers going back-in-forth. I was able to get 1200 below 4.XX% below invoice!!! for right at 33k out the door.. im very pleased!!! really didn't think i could get it for that. but we have almost 1,000 miles on the car now and am still loving it. first tank of gas we got 26.8 MPG on, which wasn't terrible considering we were fighting a 20-30mph head wind almost the whole time. but I was also varrying the speed to break it in.. not sure if you still need to do that, i just do. but im hoping to get 28-30 on the highway with it once its broken in, and on a calm day. I will be happy with that.

The car is so much fun to drive, and so comfy on our last trip of 450 miles round trip, which we made on a single tank!!!

great car loving it

I just picked up my Tucson Red 09 max 4 days ago and love it. It's an 09 SV Nav package full leather heated seats sunroof, basically every option but dual roof. It has 20k miles and I got it for 25,500. It books at over 30k so I think I got a hell of a deal!!

I wanna post pics soon and sell the factory 19 inch rims. Soon I'll be able to post threads and will be on the site for a while.

When you get new rims, post pics on the rims sticky. We all want to see them. I for one, would like to see more Tucsons with rims.

Well ,you sound like my wife! But in all honesty, I've looked at G-35/G37, BMW (overated), etc. and with the company picking up the majority of my payment, I get a new Max every 3 years for a lot less than the alternatives. This car gives me everything I need for a lot less than paying for having a "propeller" on the hood!

Oh yeah, if I get bored I jump in my wife's 350Z!

ru1thirst, You got an awsome deal. I have seen dealer fees ranging from $399 to $899. Can you please let us know how much dealer fees you paid? Thanks.

09 Radiant Silver

I picked up an 09 SV Radiant Silver sport w/ tech loaded for $29,500 OTD, Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Its a great car, I'm coming from a Cadillac CTS-V and I can't say I miss much of anything from the V. I do wish I would have waited a bit longer before I pulled the trigger though. I was working 4 dealership for 3 weeks until I finally purchased. Then of course on Monday after Thanksgiving on of the dealership called me and offered me a 10 SV Ocean gray w/ tech loaded OTD for $33,500. They were tripling the rebates and giving me two years of free maint. I must say I had a bit of buyers remorse, but I'm over it and enjoying my new max.

No problem. My Doc fee was $55. Lic/reg = $452
So total fees added were $507

bought 11/30/09

Have had the Max for 2 weeks now and love it. 2010 SV with monitor, cold package, mats, and splash guards for 30,100 including tags and fees not tax. They had to locate my color choice at another dealer but I think I would have had an additional discount if I'd have taken a color off the lot.

Price for SV with Premium

I'm in the South Florida area and looking for a 2010 SV with Premium. Was given a price of $32,500. Is this a fair price? They don't to seem to be moving that quickly. Also want to finance part of it and was told that I can either get the rebate or 0% financing but not both.
Thanks.

Nissan Security Plus Gold Warranty

Anyone buy this? My dealer charged me $1,800 for 7 year/100K Security Plus Gold Preferred. Seems pretty steep. I also saw that the CVT is covered for 100K miles by itself with standard warranty.
I have 60 days to cancel it so I might.
Any suggestions about Extended Warranty?
Thanks.

Personally, I like the security of the extended warranty. The price you have listed does seem high to me. Is there a deductible with the warranty? I would call other dealers for quotes.

Security Plus

Yes, there is a $50 deductible. I've looked around online and couldn't find a better price. I might ask a local dealer to see if they can do better.

Cool Back in a Maxima!

Just picked up a 2009 White Maxima SV

Sport Package
Floormats and trunk mat
Splash Guards
And some others
MSRP $36,800
Price Paid $31,935 with 0.0% APR for 60 months not including tax.

Got a great deal in the Phoenix area.

Initial impressions are very good. I previously owned a '96 SE, which was the best quality car I have ever owned. I have high hopes for this car. Style is excellent, power is great (although CVT is weird to get use to no shifting), and expect better gas mileage than my '05 Subaru Legacy GT it is replacing. From a luxury standpoint at this price nothing is close.

2010 Maxima SV with Premium

I picked up last week the following:
2010 SV with Premium package - Black
Floor and Trunk Mats
Splash Guards
Wheel Locks

MSRP was $37,840.
I picked it up for $31,700 plus Tax and Tag.
They wanted a $599 dealer fee that they said was their profit. I said you can have it, just drop the price of the car another $599 which they did.
Final was $31,700 plus Tag and Tag. No additional fees.

2010 SV

Just finished negotiating and picking up for my sister a 2010 SV (no packages, just mats) for 28.1K (includes Dest charge) + TTL.

Was this a good price for her?

Price

That sounds pretty low. Let us know if you can get there. I know they are hungry but not at that price.
I know I had some feelers out with some of the dealers, but none are calling back. Good luck.
