If you're going to buy a 7th gen, now is THE time to do it. They are trying to get rid of them to get ready for 8th gens

2014 sv

Yesterday, I purchased a new 2014 SV with the SV Value package for $27,989 thanks to $5,000 in rebates. There are still some cars out there but the colors are limited.

Welp, might as well make my second post here in less than a year, since our Gun Metallic SV got totaled.

We got a 2014 SV Sport+Tech including 7yr wheel warranty for 30,800 out the door. Brilliant Silver this time around, it had 4miles on it

New dealer in town, so I bought a SV Premium Package for $29k. Sticker was $39k and there was a $5k factory rebate to which the dealer added another $5k rebate. No hidden charges. I've actually put the car in storage for the winter while I drive my 2009 model before giving it to my son once the snow melts.

Just picked up a 2011 base S model with 35k miles for $15900, clean car fax and non-rental, very clean car. I'm excited to be back in with this fun and powerful V6, I bought a new 2006 some years back and also had a 2009 Infiniti G37 a few years ago too. That exhaust sounds great when you have the windows down and hit that push button start!

Could've had a fully loaded premium or sport 2014 for just $4k more

Brand new, that is...

I bought a 2014 SV with value package for $25,500. Offered me the premium for $28,200 and the premium with tech for $29,700. Went with the SV Value. Was driving a 2005 SL with 140K miles.

I feel like I got a deal. Time will tell as they start making room for the 2016s and the new body style.

Deal

I think you got a great deal. Now is the time to buy new if you can afford it. The 2014's are a great car for a bargain price right now.

I have my 2009 kbb and true car pricing, carfax etc. all printed out. I'm not interested in the 8th gen with deals like this on the 2014. I'm highly considering going in and trying to get one of these ridiculous deals and trade my 09 in on it.

Used 2013 SV, 25,000 Miles for $21,000.

2013 SV with 25k miles for $21,000. $23,800 take home with tax, title and 100,000 mile 4 yr bumper to bumper warranty. No idea if it was a average, good or really good deal. So far I like it, fast little bugger.

Do like the bumper to bumper warranty, trying now to read up on all the maintenance costs.

Unless you have a lot of issues with your cars save your $3200. Warranties are just gravy for the dealers. Half of the time when you take your car in for a problem, under warranty, the dealer will tell you that they cannot find any problem.

Some of the warranty purchase info

Good luck on your purchase. I did a little research before I purchased mine.

There's a website that I posted to and a rep called me back. At the time I was looking at a 13 Maxima and a 13 Mazda 6 (Both had same rates).

Since the car was under 36,000 miles there were two choices for bumper to bumper (Maybe $200 more for premium radio):

1) Purchase 7 years or 75,000 miles for ~1900
2) Purchase 4 years or 100,000 miles for ~2400

I'm driving about 20-24,000 miles a year so I opted for the higher cost item as I'm not planning on any big repairs. In the price negotiation, I asked the used car dealer to split the cost with me. If it's outside of the 36,000 miles, I've heard the prices go up but I don't know the data there.

Good luck

+1. Totally agree. There is a reason dealers push these so hard and it isn't because they expect to lose money on it.

Bought my 2011 Nissan Maxima with 5k miles for $8k. It's a flood car, and didn't start at the time, but I've been working on it, got it started, replaced a few fried modules, runs like a dream I think overall I've spent $9k to get it to the state it is today. Now has 12k miles. As far as trim, it's not an S but it's not quite an SV has a lot of features the SV has but not all of them.

Smile $30,000 for SV with Premium

I paid $30,000 total (including all dealer admin fees, etc) for a 2014 Maxima SV with Premium Package and Tech Premium Package, iluminated kick plates, wheel locks, and floor/trunk mats. This price also included trade-in of a 15 year old 1999 Toyota Solara. I've driven rental Maximas from Hertz a couple times in the last three years and was very impressed with the soldiness of the car, and I always like the agressive looks of the 7th Gen as well. I couldn't pass up the deal.

$29K 2014 SV sports package

I went to the dealership and traded in my modified 2012 Sentra SE-R Spec V "B16" with 37k miles odm. I was going to sell it on my own to try and make more but wasn't going to happen. I still owed 14k on the sentra. there is only 3 spec v's here in SA that are even modified including my own...so part out would have been a B****. My buddy was selling his 07 350Z tuned w/ airlift suspension heavily modified and he couldn't even get 13k. he had to drop the price down to 10k and sold the suspension separately. So based on that the dealership offered to pay OFF my sentra and sell me the Maxima for 29k=D.......I went with the obvious choice. Car had only 90mi. on the odm with Bose system/ again sports package/glass roof w/sun roof/rear automatic sun visor/ black leather seats/ CVT/illuminating kick plates/side-skirt underglows or under-lighting/mats........Only thing done so far is plasti dipped grille and rear trims=)...and I am loving this car.........only wish they made these cars in stick shift-.-.....can't wait to start modding lmao

Nice job with the ride! Hey where abouts in the Caribbean? I used to live in St. Thomas for a couple of years! Now I usually head down there every year as the 'rents have a condo & a rental unit, whenever the unit is empty lol

Hi there. So I bought a 2014 Maxima SV Sport fully loaded in February. I paid 27K (includes 4500 on trade-in). I'm very happy with the purchase. I used Truecar.com. It worked out great for me.
