I got a steal!!!

So I went car shopping at a Honda dealership, was going to get an accord, but saw a the 7th gen maxima in front during my test drive in the accord.

Took out the Maxima and loved it!!!

It was a 2012 Maxima SV with all the options- dual moonroof, Nav, Heated seats + steering wheel, HID lights. Best of all, the car was driven by an older couple, with 12k miles. Got it for $23k with still 16 months of basic warranty. I think i got a pretty good deal, no?

Traded my 02 Altima with <65k miles on them
Ended up getting a 2011 Maxima with <26k miles on them with a 7year/100k bumper 2 bumper warranty
OTD price here in IL that I paid was a bit shy of 20K$

Have my 2013 for a little over a month now, SV with 11,144 when I took it home for 22K. Dealer was asking 26K.

Really like the car, but of course, now that I have one, I'm seeing them everywhere. Parts are ordered to make mine a little different though.

2014 Maxima

Just purchased my 2014 gun metallic Maxima S with the limited package for 25,248 (excludes TTL). Price would have been 24,748 if I had chosen Nissan financing but my local bank had a better rate. The dealership is in San Antonio (I live in Amarillo). It was by far the best price I could find on a new one within 500 miles of my location. They still have SV's under 28K but I didn't care to spend the extra for navigation and leather. I got exactly what I wanted and have been thrilled with the car thus far.

Just bought my Max. 2012 SV. All leather, Satellite Radio, and Bose upgrade. 37k miles. Bought for $19900. Seems like I got a great deal

One concern of mines, the gas pedal vibrates a bit and at times I hear a tiny engine knock at low rpms - 500 to 1500 rpm. Is that normal? I've been reading posts and some say it's normal, others say it could be a loose bearing in the engine? I'm not a gear head so I have no idea. The dealer, of course, says it's been inspected and the car runs perfectly which it does, but this does slightly bother me. Hopefully it just takes some getting use to???

Besides that, love the look of my Max. Planning on getting a darker window tint on the side windows (stock tint was 50% all around). I live in MN so the tint laws suck here. Will still tint side windows to 35%. Hopefully the pigs don't hate on me too much.

New Maxima owner

I just bought a CPO 2012 Maxima S with 36,000 miles for $17,300 before tax and tags. I love this car but I've been driving my 1994 Sentra since 1995 so it's a big difference.

New to the Maxima forum, not forums in general though.

2014 Sport Pearl White, 35,887 OTD. Took me a month worth of "negotiation."

Looking forward to learning a ton from you guys.

AS general info, Regal Nissan in Roswell GA (just north of Atlanta) advertised in Friday's Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper that ALL 2014 Maximas would be sold for $9,000 off MSRP between now and the end of July. Regal is a large dealer.

2014 S with floor mats and Limited Edition package

I bought my car brand new 2 weeks ago. Came as stated above. Only other options I wanted was the ($190) mud flaps, I found them on Ebay painted for $125 and installed them last night. I wasn't worried much about any other package for my commuter. Sticker was $33,060.00 I paid $25,000.00 plus fees. That's less then I paid for my 05 Altima new. LOL

Some of the prices you guys paid are really good deals.

I bought my 2012 a few weeks ago for 19,000.00 Canadian.
44,000 miles on it
Navy on black leather SV

Love the car.
Windows tinted, rust proofed, subwoofer system added and Weathertech floor liners

Now for some winter tires
