2014 Maxima SV Stereo Issue

2014 Maxima with stock stereo and nav. Sometimes I do not turn the stereo off when I push the ignition button to shut down. On returning to restart the car, the stereo does not work. It will have the readout of the display on the screen of the selected station but no sound. I have powered off the stereo and tried changing channels and volume, but nothing. I have to shut the car off and the restart again and it works. Anyone have this type of issue?

Thank you

Can't say I've ever seen this on the forums. Is it ONLY radio (you only mention changing channels) or AUX and flash and Bluetooth, Sirius and whatever else you have?

You are correct. Everything works well. It is just the speakers (sound). I am puzzled or ignorant.

Now I am puzzled. So, to clarify. No matter the input...No sound comes out until you do your "reset routine" No hands free phone, no ipod, etc until the reset occurs.?

.

Correct. I can play music on my Galaxy S9 through bluetooth, I have not plugged in a USB cable to see. Last night I intentionally left the radio power on and speaker volume midway. I started the car this a.m. and it was playing the radio station. Its very confusing why this happens about 80% of the time.
