In Michigan we had an ice storm over the weekend I realized that my passenger window was cracked a little bit. I tried to make the window go up and down it would not move thought maybe it was frozen 10 minutes into my drive I pushed the button to lock the other windows and the passenger side window rolled all the way down and would not go back up. Good thing I have heated seats heated steering wheel and a great heater. I took it apart got the window up but everytime I press that the lock window the window goes all the way down on the passenger side any ideas or suggestions on what switch it is. Have you inspected the control module of the driver's side? There might be some moisture and/or water or ice causing inappropriate contact between the lock and the passenger sider window button causing them to operate simultaneously.

 

I did and all is dry.

 

Your master switch is defective. It is easy to replace but know you need to take care you get the one for your model. I didnt read the fine print and had to return the first one i got for my 2009 sv.
