Help: Replace BOSE speakers, keep factory HU/Amp

Howdy. I have been searching to try to find out what I need to replace the 9 speakers in my '12 Max SV (premium/tech). I would like to keep the HU and the amp usage if possible. I know it isn't as simple as a speaker swap, but is there something I can get to make it a speaker swap? (Line level, some harness, etc)? Honestly, I just want things a bit louder, and the bass a bit deeper. On the highway with the windows down, it can be difficult to hear the system at all. Thanks for any help!!

Edit: This is a Nav unit

I changed out the three front speakers of my 14 SV Sport. That was just a speaker swap. I'm not sure if the rest of the speakers have amps built in them but I don't think so. I believe I have the same Bose HU that you have

Are you referring to the tweeters? I'm wanting to replace all of them, but I imagine that I will need an adapter of some sort because of the amps low OHM output.

I replaced the front left, right and center channel dashboard speakers. Not tweeters. The speaker impedance was 4 ohms, standard speakers. Nothing special.

Awesome. Thank you. Do you happen to know the size? Probably order some tonight. I'll wait on the others for more responses lol.

Left and right front channels are both 3.5" The center channel was 3" or 3.5" I did the installation 5 years ago so I don't remember so well. The new speakers you install will probably be more hefty with larger magnets. This will make installation more challenging but it can be done. I only upgraded the three front channel speakers, was happy with the results.

I'm going to try JBL GTO series. Per the chart I found on another forum, all the speakers except the two 6x9 "subs" are 3.7 ohms. The subs are 2 ohms. The JBL GTO series has 3.5" at 3 ohms, 6.5" at 3 ohms and 6x9 at 2 ohms. Gonna give it a whirl.

Update:
6.5" sound great. Havent gotten the 3.5" in yet, that'll be tomorrow.

The 6"x9" on their own, loud, but not quite as deep as the BOSE. But when paired with the 6.5" they are bone rattling.

One on one comparisons - 6.5" took me a while to judge it, checked from all angles. Decided to go with them because they are much more clear than the BOSE. Bit louder. Bit more base.

6x9" one on one - BOSE was deeper and louder. The JBL was clearer. When using the full system, the JBL side outperformed the BOSE side on every level, but one on one, BOSE beat out the 6"x9". Thats a bit odd, but hey I'm happy with them.

Tomorrow when the 3.5" come it should make all the difference in the world. I still need to install the back "subs." And right front. Very hopeful on how this plays out....will update in case anyone wants to know.

I will most likely install left side sub before right front. Compare the two. BOSE 6"x9" may get reinstalled.

Do you happen to know positive and negative for BOSE? I have tried looking but everyone is saying a ton of different colors. All I see is a green and an orange so far. Thats rear door and front door.

As reported in my post the JBL isn't deep in the 6"x9" and im worried I might have polarities crossed.

The information you are looking for is on pages AV 612 and 613. Positive and negative and wire colors are indicated in the top left corner of each page. The speaker connections are shown on page AV 617

According to page AV612 LG (Light green?) is positive and O (Orange) is negative.

so from reading the rear 6x9 speakers are considered the subs.. and are powered by an amplifier thats likely 2 ohm, putting a 4ohm speaker on the 2ohm signal will not be as loud.
i think the front and doors are all powered by the head unit. and i think are normal 4 ohm

Amazon Amazon

these are sub only and am may purchase. id i do ill update this thread.
