Locked Out & Battery is Dead

Locked Out & Battery is Dead
Here's the situation. It's kind of funny now that I'm writing it.
So yesterday I had a locksmith come and duplicate a key for my Maxima. After cutting the manual key we realized the original & new key won't unlock the door (lock turns but door won't unlock), so there's something wrong in between the inside door latch and the lock.
Today I figured I'd take a stab at finding the missing connection instead of having someone charge me hundreds for what could be a simple fix. When removing the door panel, there's a few bolts that need to be removed. I went back in the house to find the right bit to unscrew it. Spent over half an hour, went back to the car to realize I had left the car battery running when I opened a window. So car's dead, manual lock still doesn't work, and I have no way of opening the hood to jump the car. Icing on the cake, my phone is locked in the car
Is there any way to jump the car without opening the hood? Or at least get the battery enough juice to unlock with the fob? Or is there a secret way to get in the car without smashing a window?
And while I'm at it, if anyone has any tips for fixing the inside latch issue I'd appreciate it.

That's a good idea, never thought of that. I ended up doing that but put pieces of rubber in the door until it was wide enough to get the hanger in. Door got a bit bent but should be more fixable than a broken window.
