After Market Installs
OK so this thread will have a few variations of comments and questions so please bear with me.
For the 2016 Maxima being a fairly new car I don't want an installer "guessing" and "prying" on different parts of the car trying to figure out how to get behind the center stack radio, rear deck, for speakers, and of course the head/fog lights.
So I was wondering if their were steps laid out somewhere i could take them to an installer so they would not destroy my dash etc..
I say this because in my 2007 Altima they took a chunk of the dash out trying to figure out how to remove the air vent to get to the radio. It's like if you really don't know how then at least man up and ask and don't force anything. Especially with a nice car such as the 2016 Maxima where everything fits pretty tight and a lot of scratches could potentially happen.
Any advice or recent experience would be greatly appreciated.

This is the service manual for the 2016 Maxima, I recommend bookmarking that link. It will tell you how everything should be inspected and removed/replaced. This manual will advise you to take the front bumper off to access the headlights and fogs, but its easier to go through the wheel well for both, but you can get to the fogs from underneath as well. There are threads here with information on both approaches, just have to search for them.
