Getting through the firewall

Hey I'm trying to run a power wire through the firewall on the drivers side. I can't seem to get through boot on the left side. Anybody run a wire yet?

Yes, I ran mine through the hood release cable grommet. you'll need to remove the front left wheel and take the inner wheel well plastic shroud off. Using a thin coat hanger type wire and a little white grease you'll be able to force it through. I used a piece of 1/6th piano wire. #4 Wire is the biggest you'll get through, and it is like pooping out a watermelon. Taking the wheel well plastic off makes it easier to grab the other end and fish it out to the front clip.
